This week’s show put the focus on how getting outdoors can improve heart health. Research has shown that getting outside can improve our mood, lower our heart rate, and decrease stress. I’m lucky enough to have Micah Mortali, an expert outdoorsman on the show to share with us his wit and wisdom.

Micah is an extraordinary man that has spent most of his life discovering what the outdoors can teach me, and he is now devoting a lot of his time to teaching the rest of us what he had learned.
I’ve known Micah for a few years so there are a few fun minutes in the beginning just catching up before we get into the research and theories surrounding the benefits of outdoor experiences.
